I’m Ricardo Chavarria, yet most of the time people refer to me as Chava, Ric or Tico.

I was born in Costa Rica in 1984 and I lived there until I was 15 years old. After that I moved to Panama and lived there until I went to Tallahassee, Florida to finish my Computer Science Degree. I graduated Bacherlor in Science in Computer Science from Florida State University. Afterwards I worked for almost one year at the Florida Commission on Human Relation as the Lead Programmer and Software Designer.

In August 2007 I moved to Los Angeles, CA to start my Master’s Degree in Computer Science with Game Design at the University of Southern California. I finished my degree in December of 2008 and I’m currently working as a Core Engineer for LucasArts in San Francisco, CA.

In my spare time I like to get my hands dirty programming games in XNA, doing some iPhone game and application programming and playing some games on my Xbox. I also enjoy working out, going out, cooking, snowboarding and working on my sound sytem, car, etc.
